What We Do

What we do
Mennonite Mission Network envisions every congregation and all parts of the church being fully engaged in mission - across the street, all through the marketplaces and around the world. We help churches accomplish this goal through several programs, ministries and partnerships.

  • Christian Service: Mennonite Mission Network encourages and supports service among people of all ages, from young adults to seniors, in their varied service programs. By partnering with service and discipleship programs such as Radical Journey and DOOR, or through its own programs like Mennonite Voluntary Service, Mission Network enables people to fulfill their call to service.

  • International Ministries: AIDS education in Africa, agricultural development in Asia, theological teaching in Latin America and reconciliation services in Europe are just a small sample of the vast global ministries supported by the International Ministries team. International Ministries supports ministries in more than 55 countries and places more than 170 mission workers in 46 countries. Through International Ministries, Mennonite Mission Network leads, mobilizes and equips the church to participate in holistic witness to Jesus Christ in a broken world.

  • Leadership Development: Mennonite Mission Network helps to develop leaders within the Spanish-speaking Mennonite church through the Instituto Bíblico Anabautista (Anabaptist Biblical Institute). By engaging the laity in theological training and study, participants are equipped to be dynamic leaders within their congregations.

  • Media Production: Mennonite Media exists to provide electronic and public media, which invite individuals to faith and challenge the church to faithfulness. It produces videos, DVDs and websites, writes newspaper columns, creates radio PSA, records music groups, and much more.

  • Mission Partnerships: Mission partnerships are collaborative groups whose members form covenants with each other to accomplish specific, mutually beneficial objectives. They raise financial support, set ministry directions and deploy mission personnel. Mennonite Mission Network's Church Relations and Partnership Formation department works with groups interested in launching new ministry partnerships.

  • US Ministries: US Ministries assists area conferences and congregations to proclaim and participate in the healing and reconciling message of Jesus Christ through urban ministry and outreach efforts, peace and justice and church planting. They are available for consultation with congregations, ministries, and area conferences.
